Quality = Equality

The ability to reduce disparities is predicated on collecting and analyzing the data; and implementing strategies to improve the quality of care provided for all patients.  75% of participating HQN hospitals have implemented standardized race, ethnicity and language data collection.  The national program office has trained over 400 individuals in collecting standardized data based on what the patient self-reports.
