Health Care Incentives Improvement Institute

HCI3’s mission is to improve health care quality and affordability by developing and implementing programs that create better incentives for clinicians and health care facilities, as well as health plan members. HCI3 recipes for improving incentives include new payment models and quality scorecards, in addition to publicly available information on the price and quality of health care.
 
HCI3 assisted Aligning Forces for Quality Alliances by analyzing historical claims data to identify areas of greatest opportunity, designing and implementing payment reform programs, working on sustainable business models by developing tools and resources to help communities implement quality, and cost improvement programs.
