Oregon Hospitals Join Effort to Improve Quality of Health Care

23 Aug 2011

The Oregon Association of Hospitals and Health Systems (OAHHS) has been selected to participate in the Aligning Forces for Quality (AF4Q) project, Transforming Care at the Bedside (TCAB) initiative. AF4Q, the signature effort of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to improve the quality of care in communities throughout the country, is a national partnership that brings together those who get, give, and pay for health care in the country. TCAB brings together 13 new hospital teams from across the state of Oregon. TCAB, a nurse-led hospital improvement initiative, engages front-line staff to enact real change that aims to improve patient experience, improve teamwork, reduce waste and improve the overall quality of care.
