This resource is to help multi-stakeholder organizations, health care systems, and practices understand the complex and rapidly evolving landscape for CG-CAHPS by: (1) comparing and contrasting the various CG-CAHPS versions that are being required; (2) presenting an overview of proposed changes to the CG-CAHPS versions that would support a move toward a more uniform national standard; and (3) offering practical tips and advice for navigating the requirements in a way that minimizes the burden on practices as well as patients and maximizes the value of the data for users.
